Dicetiny: The Lord of the Dice
Hello,
I'm always looking around for stuff on kickstarter. I ran into this game, and I think it looks interesting. I think the reward tiers are a little high myself, but the game looks to have elements of Talisman, Culdcept, 100% Orange Juice, and monopoly.

A strange thing happened on the way to being Kickstarted
With a couple days left in the kickstarter and a few thousand short of the finish line, the Dicetiny Kickstarter was withdrawn by the devs. It was going to be a real close one, and I had just made my pledge the day before...
What happened!?! A private investor was impressed enough with the response for the project on Kickstarter that they offered to fund the project. So the devs cancelled the kickstarter, telling backers that they will receive a wall paper and their name in the credits.
Many of the comments I read in response were angry and disappointed. I'm not sure why, I pledged because I wanted to see the game made. Now the game is being made and they don't even need my money (yet). The offer to put us in the credits anyways is cool on their part IMO.
I pledged in at the beta tester level, I have sent a request to the devs to be included in beta testing. If that works out hopefully I'll have some early impressions and possibly beta video up.

Dicetiny - Early Gameplay Walkthrough w/ a Dev
Fakedice community manage Mike Lee has posted a game play walk-through of an early build of their forthcoming digital board game Dicetiny: The Lord of the Dice. The game is slated to release soon on multiple platforms.
Dicetiny Enters Steam Early Access
Dicetiny: The Lord of the Dice has been released on Steam early access at a reduced price. The game is available for both Windows and Mac for one purchase via SteamPlay. While it is currently in an early state of development, it is completely playable now as a single player game. The developer Fakedice has stated that the game contains approximately 1/3 of its intended final content. They will be patching in more content in the coming weeks and are looking for feedback and ideas from the game's early access community.
Dicetiny: The Lord of the Dice is currently priced at only $4.49 for the first week of early access, after which the price will be raised to $4.99. As more features are added and the game nears completion, the price will gradually be raised until the final version comes out at around $20. If you are interested in this title, now is the time to get in at this great low price. See the videos below for more information.
