Brass is a digital port of a multi-award winning board game designed by Martin Wallace. Set during the industrial revolution in England, Brass is an economic strategy game where players take the roles of entrepreneurs building, connecting, developing and trading buildings and resources in an attempt to make the most money and win the game.
In Brass players begin by choosing which early English industrial revolution era industries they will build. They must then augment the buildings they construct with support structures like ports and shipyards. Next players need to connect their buildings with canals and rail ways to create distribution networks. The player can then work on improving these buildings and networks in the development phase. Lastly, what has been produced by the player's industries must then be shrewdly traded for maximum profit to win the game.
The digital version of the game features support for up to four players, including ai and can be played with local players or online multiplayer. The app features an in game manual, as well as a fully interactive tutorial that assists players new to the game in learning how to navigate the intricate mechanics of the title. Additionally the digital version features all new redesigned art and graphics that create a nice simulation of the historic atmosphere in which the game takes place.
